Pressure Treated Decking
Decking made from wood treated with chemical preservatives, typically copper-based biocides such as copper amines, to make it last longer by warding off fungal decay and insects.
There are many preservatives used in pressure-treated wood; the most common use a copper-based preservative, MCQ, ACQ, CA-A/CA-B. In 2004 the EPA, along with industry, began restricting the use of CCA (a copper preservative type) in residential applications due to the arsenic used in this process.
Because of the metals and chemicals used in pressure-treated wood, the wood should not be burned except at facilities designed for this. The concern is not the smoke but the leftover toxic ash.

Growing environmental and health concerns have lead to the development of emerging technologies, such as acetylated wood, which is treated with, at a basic level, really strong vinegar.
Lasts longer than untreated wood, allowing wood types that are not naturally very rot resistant to be used in deck construction.
Two places in the world claim to host the world's largest deck chair - Winton, Australia, and Bournemouth, UK. Both chairs are immense, high enough to need a ladder or ropes to climb into, and spacious enough to seat more than 50 people.
