Spray cork is an exterior and interior coating alternative to painting or stucco. It is a mixture of 80% cork granules and 20% water-based paint available in various color options. Spray cork could be used as an anti-slip surface for decks, patios, and walkways.

Spray cork can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, including wood, vinyl, stucco, aluminum, steel, brick, shingles, and more. Spray cork is extremely easy to maintain as dust and dirt rarely adhere to the surface. Like paint, spray cork will fade over time and requires reapplication, although it can last for 15-20 years. Before apply spray cork, the surface must be cleaned and prepared for application. Repairs should also be carried out prior to application.

Spray corks thermal property is not measured in R-value but in thermal conductivity, a measure of the rate at which temperature passes through a material. Spray cork is capable of acting as an effective thermal barrier, with thermal conductivity of 0.082. Lower is better.
